How do you play?
Type a real six letter word and press Enter. Green means right letter, right spot. Yellow means the letter is in the word but somewhere else. Grey means it is not in the word. You get six guesses.
How is six letters different from five?
- More letters per guess. Each guess tests six letters, so you learn a bit more each turn.
- More word endings. Six letter words often end in ING, ION, ED, ER or LY. Spotting the ending early can give away half the word.
- More repeated letters. Longer words repeat letters more often. Watch for double Es, Ss and Ls.

- If you find an E near the end, test ER and ED endings next.
- Try double letters when single ones do not fit. Words like LETTER and COFFEE are common.
