How do two boards work?
Each guess you type goes onto all 2 boards at once. Every board has its own hidden word and its own colours, so the same guess can be green on one board and grey on the next. You have 7 guesses in total. A board locks as soon as you solve it, and your later guesses only count on the boards still open.
What is a good plan for two words?
- Spend two guesses finding letters. Use two openers that share no letters. After them you will know a lot about both words.
- Solve the easier board first. Pick the board with more greens and finish it. Fewer open boards means clearer clues.
- Let one guess work twice. Before you guess a word for board one, check what it will tell you about board two.
- Keep two guesses spare. Try to have both words narrowed down by guess five.
How is it different from a single word game?
You get one extra guess for twice the words. That makes each guess worth more. A guess that is useless for one board can still be great for the other, so the best guess is often not a possible answer at all.
